Where are we?

Cantabria is a region covering a surface area of 5,321 km2. Located in the north of Spain, it stretches from the Cantabrian Mountains to the waters of the Bay of Biscay.

Cantabria's climate is typical of an Atlantic region, although there are appreciable variations between the coastal and inland areas.

Temperatures are mild all year round in most of the region (the average stands at 17ºC/63ºF). In general, the climate is warm and humid, which ensures the characteristic green of the Cantabrian landscape.
